Volunteers are our heroes!
BRACE currently needs passionate, dedicated individuals who are willing to invest their precious time and service to help us become the most disaster resilient community in the nation!
We currently have the following volunteer opportunities available:
Office Volunteers – Making copies, preparing packets and other literature, and packing materials for BRACE and CERT events.
BRACE Event Volunteers – Staffing booths at special events for BRACE and its partners, to include setting up, greeting visitors and handing out literature about BRACE programs and services, breaking down and packing up all equipment.
CERT Event Volunteers – Working at CERT Training events, to include setting up, general assistance to the CERT Coordinator and CERT Facilitators, standing in as a “disaster survivor” during practice exercises, breaking down and packing up all equipment and materials.
Warehouse Volunteers – Organizing and stocking materials in warehouse, packing and unpacking equipment and materials for BRACE and CERT events.
