Disaster Recovery - Individual Assistance

 

Assistance to survivors of Hurricane Ivan was delayed by months due to lack of partners, funding, procedures, forms and collaboration.

 

BRACE has:

 

·         Engaged partners to succeed the Escambia Long Term Recovery Committee to ensure 100 lessons observed became 100 lessons learned that will apply to future disaster recovery

·          Developed disaster recovery plans for

o   Needs Assessment

o   Volunteers

o   Donated Resources & Warehousing

o   Case Management

o   Spiritual Care

o   Resource Allocation (Resource Coordinating Committee)
