Emergency
Response
Team (CERT)
Educates people about disaster preparedness and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, and disaster medical operations.

To support places of worship as they lead disaster relief efforts within their faith communities.
Mapping Your Neighborhood
A 90-minute course designed to teach neighbors essential information about their neighborhood and what to do immediately after a disaster

Learn the skills that each of your neighbors have such as first aid , child or elder care, etc.

Learn about useful equipment your neighbors might have, such as; chain saws and generator.

Learn about the residents of each home and their specific special needs

Create a neighborhood map showing the location of each home and any features that might need attention after a disaster.
Operation Appreciation
​
Encourages the community to join us to say "thank you" by sending letters, notes, or drawings of appreciation to troops and everyday essential workers for their service to our community and country during covid-19 pandemic.
These letters of appreciation will be distributed locally in Escambia County to our military bases,
first responders, healthcare professionals, nursing homes, grocery stores, schools, restaurants and home improvement stores.
Stars Of Hope​
BRACE volunteers will collaborate with Stars of Hope organization to create stars of hope to uplift and encourage individuals that are going through trauma and disasters
Veteran​
Roundtable
Encourages veterans to express themselves, discuss concerns, opportunities, and events. It will also encompass speakers and
online trainings. The Veteran Roundtable will be accessible through Zoom.
